Life was never meant to be done alone. That's the whole idea behind Groups at TVL — and starting August 30th, we're launching three different ways to find your people, depending on where you are in your journey.

Whether you're brand new here, still finding your footing in faith, or ready to go deep in your own spiritual growth, there's a group built for you. Here's exactly what to expect from each one.

Connection Group

Who it's for: Anyone newer to TVL or newer to faith who wants to get to know a few people walking through similar seasons of life.

Connection Group is built to be 80% connection, 20% growth. This isn't a deep-dive Bible study — it's a space to build real friendships, have honest conversations, and find people who get what you're going through. As the group grows together, we'll dig into questions from Sunday's sermon and other topics along the way, but the heart of this group is simple: belonging.

When it meets: Wednesday nights, 6:00–7:30pm.

This is often where people take their very first step into real community at TVL — and where a lot of folks find themselves wanting to go even deeper.

Men's Growth Group

Who it's for: Men who are ready to go deep — studying scripture, wrestling with real questions, and growing shoulder-to-shoulder with other guys.

This group is 80% spiritual growth, 20% connection. It's more than just another group to attend — it's a space for men to show up honestly, grow intentionally, and lead courageously. We're building a brotherhood that pushes back against passivity and calls men to step into responsibility in their faith, families, and everyday lives.

The rhythm:

Weekly Coffee Meetups — Tuesdays or Thursdays @ 6:30am at Grassroots Coffee. Casual check-ins, life updates, and prayer together. (Exact day confirmed based on group availability.)
Monthly Gathering (90 minutes) — Once a month, date TBD. A discussion around a selected book or podcast, open and honest conversation, and real-life application.
One-on-One Meetups (Monthly) — Meet with one other man from the group (in person or by phone) for honest conversation, encouragement, and direct accountability.

Women's Growth Group

Who it's for: Women who are ready to invest in their walk with Jesus and dive deep into their own spiritual formation.

Like the Men's Group, this one is 80% spiritual growth, 20% connection. It's a space to dig into God's Word, be encouraged and challenged by other women pursuing the same thing, and grow together in faith.

The rhythm:

Weekly Gathering — Monday nights @ 6:00pm.

What we're studying this fall: We're kicking things off with a study through Titus.
